We had a great trip, despite the fact that I screwed up buying the airline tickets, which cost us some <a href=\"http:\/\/sunlightbay.com\/blog\/2013\/04\/29\/sometimes-i-feel-like-im-losing-my-mind\/\" target=\"_blank\">money<\/a> and caused a little <a href=\"http:\/\/sunlightbay.com\/blog\/2013\/05\/08\/internet-plane-ticket-lesson-23\/\" target=\"_blank\">anxiety<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We flew into DC and spent the night with Amy. We helped her with a small project the next day, and rode with her to Richmond. Amy spent the weekend and returned to DC on Sunday afternoon, so she could go to work on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>We spent most of the time in Richmond hanging out with our\u00a0grand-kids. They are cuter than ever and smarter than any little kids I know. We also had dinner with some extended family\u2014Ann D&#8217;s parents and Aunt Ro.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"piwigomedia-single-image\" href=\"http:\/\/sunlightbay.com\/gallery\/picture.php?\/436\/category\/26\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/sunlightbay.com\/gallery\/_data\/i\/upload\/2013\/05\/10\/20130510140314-b5c6c83e-th.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"piwigomedia-single-image\" href=\"http:\/\/sunlightbay.com\/gallery\/picture.php?\/428\/category\/26\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/sunlightbay.com\/gallery\/_data\/i\/upload\/2013\/05\/10\/20130510140257-29bf8218-th.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Matthew and Ann left on Tuesday for Chicago where Matthew attended a surgery conference. We were the babysitters that night. <em>You can only spoil them so much in one night.
